Another Grandma's Charm Necklace |
Okay, so I know these aren't jewelry, but they are cute felted wool star dolls I made for some of the little girls in my life. They were loved! They're perfect for travel, too! |
Though this is a little bit hard to see, it's a locket style necklace made from two separate silver pieces. It's a Mom's treasure necklace with the initials of her family inside. |
This is the same necklace as above. This is what it looks like when it's being worn. |
My mom made these beads out of pink batik fabric and requested earrings. These were a little out of my box to make, but I love the way they turned out! |
This piece is for an upcoming auction to raise money for the youth at our church who are going to Africa. |
This is the other piece for the Africa Auction. (If you're local and like it, I can give you the details of the Auction) |
I LOVE these earrings! They're fun to wear and different from what I normally make. |
I don't think you can have too many green earrings! |
These earrings are made from Kazuri beads, which are fair trade beads made in Africa. They're teal and I think they go with just about everything! |
This is a long necklace I made to go with everything. It has a tassle, a sparrow, and a decorative ring. |
I was experimenting with putting ribbon in with a design. LOVE this ribbon which shimmers orange and green depending on the light! |
Here's the jade, close up. (All of the beads are jade and jasper, but the jade from Guatemala are the larger beads, the 4th, 6th and 8th from the right.) |
I'm usually a silver girl. But this necklace is brass. It is mixed media involving brass chain, brass filigree charms, a felted wool bead, and a swarovski crystal. |
Here's the close up. You can see the turquoise felted wool bead peeking out of the brass ball. And the glitter that the swarovski crystal adds to the brass filigree charm. |
This necklace was intentionally designed to be significant to the wearer, but discreet at the same time. |
