Earrings & other Spring Creations

These make great gifts when traveling!

These are made out of fabric yo-yos my mom made and embellished with tiny pearl seed beads and a larger pearl in the center.

New Creations

Monogram for a friend

Christmas Gift.  The husband did a great job designing and knowing what his wife wanted!

A Mom's Necklace

Grandma's Charm Necklace

Another Grandma's Charm Necklace

Okay, so I know these aren't jewelry, but they are cute felted wool star dolls I made for some of the little girls in my life.  They were loved!  They're perfect for travel, too!

Though this is a little bit hard to see, it's a locket style necklace made from two separate silver pieces.  It's a Mom's treasure necklace with the initials of her family inside.

This is the same necklace as above.  This is what it looks like when it's being worn.

My mom made these beads out of pink batik fabric and requested earrings.  These were a little out of my box to make, but I love the way they turned out!

This piece is for an upcoming auction to raise money for the youth at our church who are going to Africa.

This is the other piece for the Africa Auction.  (If you're local and like it, I can give you the details of the Auction)

I LOVE these earrings!  They're fun to wear and different from what I normally make.

I don't think you can have too many green earrings!

These earrings are made from Kazuri beads, which are fair trade beads made in Africa.  They're teal and I think they go with just about everything!

This is a long necklace I made to go with everything. It has a tassle, a sparrow, and a decorative ring.

Green.  Can you tell it's my favorite color?  I'm branching out this spring with oranges and yellows and teals, but for now, this necklace is made from recycled glass beads I picked up in Asheville, NC, my hometown.

When I travel I enjoy finding a few beads (if possible) that remind me of the trip.  This necklace has three jade beads from Guatemala.  We went on a tour of the Jade Factory in Guatemala City.  Easily my favorite side trip!

I was experimenting with putting ribbon in with a design.  LOVE this ribbon which shimmers orange and green depending on the light!

Here's the jade, close up.  (All of the beads are jade and jasper, but the jade from Guatemala are the larger beads, the 4th, 6th and 8th from the right.)

I'm usually a silver girl.  But this necklace is brass.  It is mixed media involving brass chain, brass filigree charms, a felted wool bead, and a swarovski crystal.

Here's the close up. You can see the turquoise felted wool bead peeking out of the brass ball.  And the glitter that the swarovski crystal adds to the brass filigree charm.

Infertility and Infant Loss is certainly close to my heart.  This necklace is a design for a dear one whose babies were born to heaven.  The crystals are for the months that are the hardest (can be due date or date of loss).  It is stamped with a heart with wings.

This necklace was intentionally designed to be significant to the wearer, but discreet at the same time.
